Abstract

Electronic commerce or e-commerce is a widely accepted and growing type of business model where goods and services are bought and sold using electronic network. Now, there is a growing popularity of e-commerce worldwide, not just for the B2C type but for the B2B. Supplier companies are utilizing this strategy to expand their market reach and increase their sales. 

With the computing being in business for 30 years now, and with the increasing demand on pharmaceutical active ingredients, the company has large potential in increasing its market from local and foreign suppliers, through taking advantage of the e-commerce strategy. Building an e-commerce website will require a large investment, but utilizing the software as service option in building a website through platforms, such as Shopify, can be a reasonable means for the company.
